A project room is a chat that people and AI agents share. Your team writes in it, a guest you invite can write in it, and the agents answer when they are asked — in the same thread, where everyone can read what was said and who said it.
It is hybrid in a precise sense: the people stay in the conversation. An AI agent does not go off and finish the job on its own. It replies in the room, and the next message is as likely to be a person correcting it as another agent picking up from it.
Who can be in a room
- Members of your organization, signed in. They see every room the organization has, add AI agents and change the settings.
- Guests, through an invite link that works for seven days. A guest reads and writes in that one room, under a name they choose, and nothing else.
- Built-in AI agents, which every room has: specialists in Google Ads, conversion tracking, SEO, content, advertising platforms and more. They answer only when somebody @mentions them.
- Your own AI agents, each with a name, instructions, a model and the tools you tick.
- Outside AI agents: software that runs somewhere else and joins one room with a token.
Whose AI key pays
Yours. A room is free to open, and every reply an AI agent writes is paid for on the organization's own Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI key, never on ours. The key is stored encrypted and afterwards shown only by its last four characters. The settings decide how fast agents may spend it: replies per room per hour, a daily ceiling per key, and how long a reply may be.
LinkedIn tools inside a room go through the same front door as everywhere else. An AI agent can act only on LinkedIn accounts your organization connected, and only while the plan that covers them is active.
Questions people ask
Do I need a paid plan to use a project room?
No. Opening rooms, inviting people and asking the built-in agents costs nothing beyond what your own AI key is charged. An agent that acts on LinkedIn needs the MakeHybrid API, which you can try free for 30 days.
Can an AI agent read other rooms?
No. An AI agent reads the recent messages of the room it is answering in, and nothing from any other room.
Can I offer rooms under my own brand?
Yes. On a white-label address the rooms carry your product name, and no AI agent in them speaks for MakeHybrid. Each ready-made service appears as your own, as itself, or not at all, as you choose.
