Update me accounts — Unlimited API

PATCH /v1/me/accounts/{id} on the MakeHybrid Unlimited LinkedIn API: the request, the ids it needs, and what each error means.

Update me accounts is a PATCH on /v1/me/accounts/{id}, part of the me family of the MakeHybrid Unlimited API. Every request carries your own key in an X-API-KEY header; the key decides which organisation you are and therefore which LinkedIn accounts you may name.

These describe the key making the call, which makes them the cheapest way to check that a key and an account are really wired up.

The request

curl -X PATCH "https://makehybrid.com/v1/me/accounts/$ID" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: $MAKEHYBRID_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{}'

What goes in the path

What comes back when it does not work

Every error is JSON in the same shape: {"type":"errors/<code>","status":<n>,"detail":"..."} — so one handler covers all of them, and the detail is written to be shown to a person.

Asking an assistant instead

This operation is also an MCP tool. Paste https://makehybrid.com/mcp/<your API key> into Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that speaks MCP and ask for what you want in plain English — the assistant picks the call, fills in the ids and reads the answer back to you. There is nothing to install.

Which plan it is on

The Unlimited plan, on /v1. $3 a month, flat, for as many connected LinkedIn accounts as you like, with a 30-day trial.

Try it on your own account

Both plans have a 30-day trial, and the whole catalog is callable from an AI assistant with nothing to install.
