MakeHybrid

Create linkedin — Unlimited API

POST /api/v1/linkedin on the MakeHybrid Unlimited LinkedIn API: the request, the ids it needs, and what each error means.

Create linkedin is a POST on /api/v1/linkedin, part of the linkedin family of the MakeHybrid Unlimited API. Every request carries your own key in an X-API-KEY header; the key decides which organisation you are and therefore which LinkedIn accounts you may name.

This family passes a request through to LinkedIn's own surface, so what comes back is shaped by LinkedIn rather than by us.

The request

curl -X POST "https://makehybrid.com/api/v1/linkedin" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: $MAKEHYBRID_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{}'

What comes back when it does not work

Every error is JSON in the same shape: {"type":"errors/<code>","status":<n>,"detail":"..."} — so one handler covers all of them, and the detail is written to be shown to a person.

Asking an assistant instead

This operation is also an MCP tool. Paste https://makehybrid.com/mcp/<your API key> into Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that speaks MCP and ask for what you want in plain English — the assistant picks the call, fills in the ids and reads the answer back to you. There is nothing to install.

Which plan it is on

The Unlimited plan, on /v1. $3 a month, flat, for as many connected LinkedIn accounts as you like, with a 30-day trial.

Try it on your own account

Both plans have a 30-day trial, and the whole catalog is callable from an AI assistant with nothing to install.
